It has been my privilege to lead this school for the last sixteen months. We have undertaken an incredible journey of improvement and it has given me great joy to see the good things we have achieved for the children and young people of Morecambe.
But the truth is, we have only just begun.
The new academy represents a new future for our students. As parents living in Morecambe, you will see the beginning of regeneration in our beautiful seaside town. It is Morecambe’s time.
Working with The Bay Learning Trust, we have secured significant capital investment for our school. Over the next two years, this will mean: a new arts and music block; new roofs; new windows; upgraded fire and water systems; new CCTV; new computer systems and further cosmetic improvements. The students in Morecambe deserve a bright, modern learning environment.
